Wow! I don't think I've ever seen one of these for sale used. I just upgraded to one from an older Gitzo. I love it. This should go fast. RRS probably makes the finest tripods in the industry. You don't see people reselling them often.

There are three hex-screws that hold the column in place. You can loosen them with a standard Allen wrench. Then replace the column with a platform and re-tighten them. It takes less than a minute.
