Nice light indeed, Will, and you were making the most of it. Really nice captures on the action too -- #3 is special and the flying mane in #1 is great. That horse's agent will be calling you, I'm sure...
Mark
Hey, Mark!! Thanks a bunch, buddy. I'd kill for hair like that

Trenchmonkey, you had me worried there for a second. I like this form of pole dancing just fine. Good shots
Mission accomplished, then. Thank you, Andre.

Awesome as usual. Unfortunately, given it's you, we always expect "awesome". BTW, is that "Busted" in two and three? If so, she's growing up.
Hiya, Rolf...you're too kind.
Great memory, it's "busted's" saddle mate Quincey.

Interesting photos. It is amazing to me that those huge, muscled horses can be guided by such little girls.

Thanks, Tom. They're very well trained 'high dollar' horses and respond to a light touch of the reins.
That's not to take anything away from the young racers, putting up these pretty impressive runs.
great shots. i've known my wife since high school, and she rode for many many years as a jumper. i will never forget this line from her coach, "liz, you have to force your control on the horse!" i laugh to this day thinking about it: this is a 2000 lbs animal. if it wants this 100 pound girl off it's back, it will find a way!
I'm blown away every time I see your pics of these youngsters!! Exquisite action captures. #3 does it most for me; I really like the edge of her tongue emerging from the corner of her mouth as she rounds the pole Angle of the horse and her body on it suggest she's moving really fast - can almost hear the sounds.
Beautiful, Will. Lots of happy camper parents I'll betcha
Hi Tony! Thanks a lot for da props. Spec shootin's tough enough these days...good thing I'm retired
and mostly do this for gas money and keepin' my skills honed. The Cowboy Hall at this venue will be
buying a dozen or so 11X14's and 16 X 20's for their remodel...be a nice F'Day/B'Day present for me.
Naw, you didn't have me fooled. As soon as I saw who posted the photos, I knew exactly what to expect. You're too much of a gentleman to do anything otherwise.
