More family love and fun at the zoo; this time with the baboon family. The baboons I observed were very close-knitted. The females would sit in clusters grooming each other and tending to their young. The younger baboons would be happily running around, playing a game of catch, and engaging in mock (or perhaps real) combats. The older male baboons would either sit stately at a high location overlooking the rest of the younger baboons, and would ocassionally take a swipe a younger baboon that would come and disturb them.
