Stunning, awesome shots. Shove them in the face of anyone who says you can't get "creative", shallow DOF images on APS-C, much less on 4/3. That's utter rubbish and you (and the others) prove it time and again. But of course the measurebators would still disagree and keep theoreticizing.
thanks! the big problem with these fast lenses on cropped cameras is angle of view not dof. you can't get the dramatic perspectives that you could with a FF camera so one needs to look harder for ways to compose that utilize the narrow dof.

Nice showing in this 1.2 lens thread.
A few from past weekend. Every time, I use this Nikkor 1.2, it give me some nice surprise. A truly gem. and under valued from any POV.
If there's one thing I like from the Nikkors over Canon is the way contrast is handled. Canon tends to flatten this aspect while Nikkors seem to have bite and have an interesting signature. Your 50/1.2 seems to really exhibit this fingerprint. Fantastic shots.
I expected to see great bokeh from Rokkor 58 and Nikon Ai, also expected to see good resolution from Canon 55 Asph and Pentax 50, but what I did not expect to see is an overall excellent draw and especially smooth and nice bokeh from Pen 42/1.2. (nice little gem)

since he put a II at the end of it, i presume it is the latest eos version. as OP i'm happy to see images from that non-alt lens in this thread.
here is the relavent quote form my OP: sebboh wrote:
i figured since the question of fast lenses and which are sharpest/have the best bokeh/will magically make me a decent photographer comes up a lot we should just start a thread showing examples from all our ultrafast lenses wide open to direct people to. so post any images you have from an f/1.2 or faster lens wide open even if it's not alt (for comparison purposes). please also post what format (e.g. 4/3, aps-c, FF, truck camera)
