Canon 85L II...not sure if this is allowed here, as it is the EF and not really an alt.
Jim
the eos mount f/1.2 lenses are welcome, but try to confine posts to wide open shots unless it's part of a comparison.
speaking of which, here are couple of longer distance shots with the rokkor 58/1.2 wide open and then at f/2. both pairs were taken within a few seconds of each other but handheld and shot in aperture priority (which resulted in different exposure levels).
@Bif: There are 7 different f/1.2 lenses besides the Rokkor 58 represented on this page alone. Only two sebboh and Grenache have posted images from the Rokkor.

And? Still, I bet around 60% of the images in this thread are the Rokkor. With a few other past threads being similar it's now the only lens I'm actually tired of seeing.

Don't make me count them... you also thought that most FM people were using cameras with APS-C or smaller sensors.

We should rename this thread to "The Rokkor 58/1.2 & a few friends".
i don't think anyone is surprised to learn that the rokkor 58/1.2 is very popular on this forum. i'm actually seeing a lot more variety in lenses than i expected, and am very pleased. this thread is less 58/1.2centric than your rokkor normalish thread at least.
i want to see more noctilux shots though (all varieties), and more from the voigtlanders.

Hi _downfall_, I had the Cosina f1.2 too .. but mine is 58mm FL
I wonder if the rendering of the Cosina is identical to the Yashica ML 55/1.2.
Hi, cool , I really like this lens. I didn't know that it existed in a 58mm, you are not mixing it up with the filter thread which is 58?
I am not sure, I know that there are similar lenses like Porst 55/1.2 and Reuvenon. If I remember correct there are some differences in the design like number of apperture blades. But I canīt remeber where I read it =/.
Thanks for your comment sebboh and AhamB
Here are some older shots with the Cosina on Pentax K-5 and K200D
