Thanks Kokusai! Pretty stoked! Getting used to the camera. I took my CY 35-70 and the Rokkor yesterday, and ended up only using the Rokkor! I'm saving the 50 Lux R for when I have some more time! The Lux is why I bought the A7, thanks to you!! Buy the Rokkor sure is no slouch!!

Hi kwoodard...not my Ghia. It's sits on my route, and I drive by it everyday, and yesterday, I thought, "I need to shoot that car!"...not really sure what year, but you could be right!
Wow, these images with the Rokkor really do show how great the Bokeh rendering is! I want one!
The bokeh is quite nice!! I haven't shot the Rokkor enough yet to know if I like its or my Leica R 50 Lux bokeh better(and it's really, really nice)! But the Rokkor has something the Lux doesn't...1.2

Very nice shots with the Cosina 55 1.2. Where can I find one? Kokusai..whrere did you get yours? I found a Ruvenon(?) 55 in Pentax mount on evilbay...is that the one??

Thanks Gregg! I believe the Revuenon is the same as the Cosina. My Cosina is Pentax mount that I use with an adapter. I had to make a modification though on the lens temporary removing the aperture lever to not hit the mirror on the 5D.

Gregg - I got mine from this seller many years ago in Pentax mount. It seems he's got a big inventory (new old stock) of this lens and has been selling them over the years. Not sure about the differences between other brands such as Revenon, Porst, Cosinon, Yashinon, etc., but the Cosina version has 9 aperture blades.
