First up Granite WY, a few of the hundreds of windmills doting the landscape from Laramie to Cheyenne along I80
On to Vedauwoo to take in some other worldly rock formations
No trip to So. WY is complete for me without a stop by the Ames Monument. The pit in the foreground was for the Roundhouse on the original Transcontinental RR.

Nice I shoot up there often. Southern Maine coast is absolutely beautiful. Trying to get time to explore the mid coast a little as well.
Was up there last weekend. Not often I get up that way at this time of day but it was absolutely magnificient but unfortunately I got burned to a crisp as we've had at least 3 months of rain/fog every weekend and I am busy on weekdays.

edit July 9th - I posed this photo not because I think its a great photo but because of the faint image of a woman in the center window. This photo was a quick grab, not well composed. In post I was trying to crop out the modern building next door and look at the B&W version and try to come up with a decent photo. That's when I notice the lady in the window which I did not notice during the taking of the photo. I'm guessing its actually a mannequin, otherwise, this should be featured on a late night show on the paranormal . The reflected clouds help give it a ghostly look.
Really liking my new XF 70-300 particularly it's close focus capability and rendering. I few snaps I grabbed of small unimportant scenes along the Portland waterfront while walking around before dinner. Takes the slot of the venerable 55-200 in my X bag. I hear the new 16-55 has upped it's close focus game as well. Can tote the 16-55 + 70-300 all day long and will be even lighter when I upgrade to the new version.
