Judging by these photos, you're getting along rather well with the 27mm. I think it's underrated and you don't often see images taken with it. Thanks for sharing these.
Wonder how it holds up to the 23mm f2, besides being a slight difference in FL.
Thanks Leighton I was motivated after I tried the black X100F in store and shortly afterwards and guy arrived very keen on the X100F. I had the first say on the X100F but the guy that came afterwards was looking for the X100F for a special present for his wife's birthday, so I decided to wait for the next batch of X100F After having tried the XF 27/2.8 with the XT2, I think I will wait a while longer This lens is excellent and surprisingly sharp. I just set the AF on wide multi point and the it is a point and shoot.
If I need the XF 23, I have the XF 23/1.4 so the 27/2.8 make for a superb to go lens.

Leighton,
Thought you might enjoy this Flicker site. Sunny's most recent batch of photos from Scotland are taken mostly with the XF-23/1.4. But looking at the EXIF data you will see most have been shot at f/8 so I would imagine the f/2 lens performance at f/8 would be so close that most would never see any difference. IMHO! :-)
Your 90mm shot of your daughter and grandson (next to last posted where her eyes are closed) just radiates such great love and joy!
No Farmer's Market photos this weekend?

Hey Jack, thanks for the link. Some amazing images on there. No market shots, I wasn't too happy with any of them this week.
First time poster in the Fuji forums. I picked up an xpro2 last week and rotated it in with my Canon gear at a wedding this past weekend. I only had a few days to learn it prior but I managed to make it work. I was pretty blown away by the AF. Still a lot to learn about the system but so far, I like it All shot with the 35/2
Another one, processed in colour, and black and white. A bonus pic of the pup that gets me out to take the photos, but gives me a hard time when I stop to snag them. Same XF16 F/1.4 lens for all. In the hands of someone who could process properly, it'd be an awesome tool.
Stopped off the side of the road on the way back home from Tampa to take this pic. It was very hazy, and I don't have a proper telephoto for the Fuji yet, so shot wide open at f/4 with the Canon 70-200mm f/4L IS on manual focus using the X-T20.

Very nice. Would love to hear how you processed for the colours in second image?

Judging by these Chris, I wouldnt worry about processing.
Just stick to taking amazing images, esp like the first.

Thanks Tim. It's a bit disheartening to go into the Landscape forum here and look at all the amazing shots people are taking. I know it isn't the gear (well okay, it's occasionally the gear, resolution and full frame do play a part at times), it's mostly the light, and of course the photographer's ability to edit this pics. The light I do have control over, I just need to be willing to wake up earlier, or pull my self away from the desk to get out into the evening for some sunsets. The processing is where I have to set my sights, and learn. While perhaps a bit frustrating, it's also rewarding when something turns out, so I'll get it yet.
This one doesn't have the more dramatic sky, but it's nice and serene.
Rented the 50 -140 for my daughter's first dance recital this weekend and got to the auditorium and our seats were too close for me to use it! Helped me remember that thing is way bigger and heavier than I would want, but can rent for $40/weekend when needed.
Also need to apologize for thinking (I don't think I've ever said it aloud) that the Fuji XT2 autofocus was just meh. I was used to using single point and AF-C like I used to and when the guy at the camera store I returned the lens to walked me through the focus, I was floored by what I'd been missing. I haven't tried Zone yet, but I was thrilled with Wide/Tracking when I was taking pictures of the puppy and my running around the yard. I had always stayed away from wide because I always thought it guessed at what you wanted in focus. Love the camera even more.

Thanks! I really only did some minor adjustments to these. For the second one, basic tone curve adjustment, also a very slight tone curve adjustment on the reds and then pulled up the shadows on the blue channel blues by like 2%. Also a slight WB adjustment to warm it up slightly. No custom color profiles, just AdobeRGB as I still only have LR5 and it seems I need to upgrade
