Anyone that wants to see a larger version of the picture can click on the Flickr link below the shot and see it full sized. I keep my postings to 1024p on the wide end for those of us that work on smaller laptops so we don't have to scroll sideways to see the whole shot.
Posting into the main thread as well. Snagged these yesterday walking my dog in Golden Ears provincial park, in Maple Ridge British Columbia. Sadly I hadn't realised fiddilng with some settings earlier in the day had left me in jpeg mode rather than raw+fine, but these turned out decently regardless.
The 18-55 really is a decent lens. I'm just debating now whether or not I flip my 16 F/1.4 for a 10-24 or sit tight with it until the 8-16 F/2.8 WR appears next year. That'd probably be the smart thing to do.
Beautiful shot. One of these days, God willing, I'll get to visit there for a long time and get my own shots. Till then, living vicariously !
The 3000 x 2000 shot looks great on this little 17.3" 4K screen, but strange how Flickr does their auto-scaling -- I had to literally save the 'full size' image to my desktop then open it with the Windows 10 image viewer to get a proper size. Great shot!
