Helpful that.

Sorry, didn't realise this was a serious poll. Thought it was supposed to be fun and not taken seriously.

Next time I'll be sure to provide both quantitative and qualitative breakdowns for my reasonings complete with weightings and a risk analysis. I'm sure my vote still places the poll within margin of error.

Ha ha ha. In all fairness, you have a point, but my 'helpful that' statement was too said in a non serious way. I always forget about the 'not what you say but the way you say it' limitation when posting on forums.

However, next time do please provide both quantitative and qualitative breakdowns and risk analysis. It would certainly help things along.

Looking on those pictures for longer, at least both look very beautiful for me.
I would like to feel them in my hands. I guess, it is mainly the missing controll wheel that makes the Nikons view "feel" uncomfortable to me.

And wasn't that radical when it came out! I bought one as soon as I saw it.

I think the Canons have always looked better than the Nikons, even going back to the F1's. Now even more so.

Not that it matters.

Yes, its amazing how we derive 'good looks from familiarity. By posting this thread on both boards it demonstrated this quite clearly, and whilst it was inevitable it was indeed interesting to see the results.

Both systems have very different button layouts, but as a man who switched from Canon to Nikon only a about 9 or so months ago I can say with experience that it only took me a couple of days to get used to the Nikon way, and I do find it smoother and quicker to use and navigate a Nikon body now I am familiar with the system.

Lets be honest, both the 1Dx and D4 are beasts, but it is the sheer bulk and technical capability that I love. I have always been a techy gadget guy and love the fact I have a bazillion buttons to play with on a camera.
