Ok, just some light hearted fun. This is not meant to be serious and is not meant to cause a Canon v Nikon riot.
I think the 1Dx v D4 technical discussions have been done to death, but what about the looks department. Whilst we all wait patiently for our new dream machines to hit the streets lets have a little vote to see what we think is the better looking machine.
This is just for fun but do feel free to explain your choice if you want to. Remember, this is not a debate about which camera is better technically so don't be afraid to vote for the Nikon if you think it is better looking.
If both images have the same magnifcation, I would fall for the wider "opening" in the middle there that has a chrome ring if viewed from the front without any lens .
I've always thought Canon cameras had superior aesthetics because Nikons have all sorts of lumps and bumps and unsightly buttons to actually make it better to USE.
The Nikons always look like some sort of creepy Japanese anime insect robots (although it's the Sony DSLR that really take this to a truly hideous and frightful extent).

One looks like a walrus and the other looks like a manatee. Which is the best looking? Depends on whether you're a walrus or a manatee.
I respect the techie look and feel of the Nikon, but for pure aesthetics, I like Canon's 1Dx better. It's smoother, less clunky, and the proportions seem more inline with what a larger camera should be (not super cramped, well spaced, etc.).
