Item updated in the last 24 hours Item price reduced in the last 24 hours   Nikon D90 and Nikon mount lens package

Sold

Price: $900.00
Payment method: PayPal
Item condition: 9 Shows signs of use, but very clean
Shipping instructions: ConUS only. I would like $60 for shipping these items (will likely cost more). I want to ensure these items arrive at your door in the same condition as when they left.

900 is my bottom line and a steal. This price does not include any additional fees or shipping costs.

I'm selling this as a package and would prefer not to split up. I'm selling this for a low price to move fast. I've always tried to be fair and give the buyer a good price when I sell. I want to switch back to Canon and is the only reason for my sale.

First up, The D90:
This was refurbished by Nikon. No more than 2k clicks, works perfectly. This is a fantastic camera and is amazing at high ISO's. Included with sale is the box, all cables, software, paperwork, LCD screen protector, and everything else it comes with as new. I'm also including an extra Nikon battery and ML-L3 remote with the sale. I'd rate this in like new condition without any noticeable signs of usage.

Sigma 30mm 1.4 HSM
Great little lens that is in fantastic shape. It comes with original box, bag, lens cap, caps, and will throw in a brand new/cheaper UV filter. I'd rate it in very good condition with minimal signs of usage.

Sigma 18-50mm 2.8 Macro
Another great lens that takes fantastic pictures and I consider it a big step up from the kit lens. It comes with bag, lens hood, caps, everything except the box (can't find it). I'd rate this as being in very good condition with minimal signs of usage.
Here is more details from Sigma:

Vivitar 135mm 2.8, manual focus lens. There is a small flat spot on the lens hood which does not affect anything other than cosmetics. This lens takes really, really good pics, and is surprisingly easy to focus, even for someone like me who sucks at manual focusing. The glass is flawless on this thing but does show slightly more signs of usage than the other two lenses. For its age, it looks fantastic. I'd rate this is good condition.
Some samples for the Vivitar

I'm rating the overall packaged as a 9.

I tried something different...I took a video, rather pictures. The pictures from my point and shoot were just not coming out well. Hope this works for everyone.

Price reduced. 900 is my bottom line and I will keep it if I am offered 899.99 or less. I would like the cost of shipping as well as Paypal fees.

p.1 #5 · Sold: $900 for all - Nikon D90, Sigma 30/1.4, Sigma 18-50/2.8, Vivitar 135/2.8

I have been purchasing lenses, all over the Web, for many years. This was the 1st time I ever had a problem @ a photography forum, and it was one of the worst sales experiences of my life.

Seller advertized 3 lenses as "fantastic"--sold me 2 bad lenses: one loose barrel; one horribly decentered. Seller refused to take lenses back, told me to search the Web for a fix or send them to Sigma--said he had spent the money already--I called the day I recevied the gear. I explained I paid for fantastic lenses, that is what I wanted.

Got Paypal to mediate--seller forced to take lenses back and to refund every penny of transaction, including shipping and Paypal fees to me. Seller then PMs and threatens that if I leave feedback, he'll say lenses were damaged when I returned them. Seller will not stop calling me--Avoid this person at all costs.

Let me work through these lies one at a time.

Where's your feedback you promised to provide me, and never did then? Obviously, no feedback here. You'll be the last person I ever deal with without any feedback.

I never told you to search the web for a fix. You also agreed to have Sigma fix the lens for free via PM on here but then when you called me you had a change of heart, and that is the last I've heard from you. Why?..well because you shouted and hung up on me. How am I supposed to work this out with you if you refuse to communicate? I never said I spent the money already either. I think you were too busy shouting to hear anything to be honest. I did my best to remain calm and collected and left you a couple of messages, asking for you to call back so we can work this out. You never did, did you?

Yes, you sure did go to paypal, because as said previously, you refused to communicate with me. Seriously, please learn how to read and/or tell the truth. Go read your PM again. It says "Please post in my for sale thread so I can share my experience with you to all of FM. You are the most immature, miserable person I've ever experienced. Also, you returned my items damaged, and poorly packaged, but I chose not to appeal through Paypal, as I just want to be finished with you. Good riddance to a poor excuse for a human being."

To expand on that, you are indeed a very poor excuse for a human being. You are hot tempered, immature, and because of this, IMPOSSIBLE to work with. Also, you DID damage my items upon returning them to me. The Sigma 30mm has new marks on it, the 18-55 has scuff marks on the lens cap, and the D90 has a broken, scratched battery door. I notified Paypal but had no interest in appealing whatsoever as I am willing to write this experience off as a loss and learning experience. No $ in the world is worth the negative experience I had with you. That is the last time I deal with someone without ANY feedback. You should be ashamed of yourself in the way you acted.

With that said, I took the lenses to the local photography store and other than the damage YOU caused, they could find not decentering and the lens barrel on the Vivitar was nonexistant. I believe you had buyers remorse as you said you were only looking to buy a D90, and weren't open to spending more.

The bottom line...SO HAPPY this is over. You caused me to lose sleep over the way you chose to deal with this.

FM, I won't tell you to avoid this person, but if you do, please proceed with caution and do what you can to protect yourself. I didn't, and it cause me a great deal of stress.
