Excellent, with all box/cards/original receipt. Approximately 15,200 clicks. Bought here several months ago. I'm still saving for MF, and use my D3s more often. Has a mark on bottom rubber. I prefer to avoid ebay issues (duh) so have dropped price. I shoot with the D3s more often, keeping that. CCheck my favorite payment method. Thanks
Don't let the low post count scare you off, Doug purchased this camera from me and he was great to deal with and of course the camera itself if an excellent unit. Good luck with the sale Doug hoping you get that MF camera you have been looking for.
FYI: So it sold at 4450. The buyer of course has to receive it and approve condition etc. I've not sold on this forum before, I tried to be straightforward with replies and responses to offers. I did get three that for whatever reason backed out after a price was agreed to. So that made committing before receiving funds problematic, and PayPal told me funds would take several days to clear (so transferring the money to my own "real" bank account had no speed advantage over a check)
To potential buyers, this particular camera at this time seemed to be worth in the low to mid 4's.

I don't think three people backing out is indicative of what normally happens here. You do have some people back out, but I'd guess that with the D800 coming out there was a lot of uncertainty about what the price was going to do, so people may have gotten scared at the last second. I don't think you should base future considerations to sell here (since you only have had 2 sales it appears) on how this one went. From what I've heard and experienced, I think it's the best place to buy and sell used stuff.
And the price elsewhere seems to be settling in around what you sold yours for. The last one at auction sold for $100 more, but had an extra battery. Obviously you didn't have the same fees, so both you and the buyer came out ahead of what you would have elsewhere.
You are correct, my comments were of the FYI nature and weren't meant as generalization about this buy/sell forum. The 800 could be brilliant, or could have that nebulous grainy look of say, the 7D.
