Some Snowy Owls from Damon Point from last week. I had sunshine all day, it was warmish and quite windy. The warm, mid 40s F, weather had the birds panting for most of the day giving the opportunity for some different expressions.
3&4 are the same bird. I photographed that one alongside a friend of Conrad's!! Imagine making small talk with somebody and finding you have a friend in common and it's Conrad Tin Man Lee, if you are looking I hope you got some good ones also Also these two were taken at high noon!
Just remarkable IMHO. If I were ever fortunate enough to view one of these absolutely stunning owls in the wild I would probably miss the shot from awe. Nice work Tim.
A rare sunny day at the beach this time of year and you naaaaaaaaaailed em all Tim!
Love the compo for the opener, the grasses add!
#2 is a gorgeous portrait and fantastic perch this one chose
3 and 4 show the panting you described really well buddy and cool to see a different look
Great character in #5 showing those big mitts
Super head turn makes #6 and the sweet light didn't hurt!
The light blue sky sets off the plummage nicely in 7 and awesome look at those eyes.
8 and 9 looks like he had a rough night Bar fight?
Sleepy time shot is excllent in that sweet light
11 brings me to favorite in this incredible series buddy, glowingly beautiful my friend
Glad you pulled back for one frame and it's always cool to see the lay of the land. Spectacular backdrop to showcase the killer composition.
Superb stuff brah, I know there are a ton of gems in the remaining 1900 frames
Tim. they are all high caliber shots, but the first one is very very special.
I suspect that the sight of that one will make some lads on this board really sick , but I am glad for you to have come one notch closer to your artistic vision.
Freakin' Sweet set Tim. Great details as I expect from you! I might just like a bit more space around as the grasses are a really nice touch but of course YOU da MAN and your efforts are highly regarded.
