Hi Tim, here I am! I finally registered here. It was a pleasure meeting you and seeing you with the 800mm lens in action! It's so awesome that we were the only two photographing that owl and I have heard of you and saw many of your great work at fm forum before, and that, not surprisingly, as everyone does, we both know Conrad!
Had a fantastic time there (well except the hike which was killing me). I didn't know we were blessed with such a good weather that day until the 3rd morning when it was heavily overcast with no light.
Beautiful images you got here! Love them all especially the second one, and the ones with ocean background, and the golden sunset lights.
Hey Tin!! It was a pleasure to meet you and shoot with you. Ha you got a taste of our normal winter light I look forward to seeing your images, thanks for the good words!

Amazing shots here! Wow, what great detail. I have to go with 11 as my fav, the depth and color from that evening light is gorgeous! I've gotta hit up Damon point myself, it looks like a great spot.
Thank you Ashley!! Yeah get out there while there is still time. Do what ever it takes if we get a nice day!!

Tim, it looks like I should have saved my San Diego trip for a week. It looks like you had some great light while I was gone. You nailed them as usual. Bruce

Awesome series Tim!
You got some fabulous looks at these Snowies. I particularly dig the contexts and sweet BGs.
That light, pose, perch and color in #11 is just off the chain brro and that scape in #12 is right next to it on my fav's list. Great dynamic range and color in this one as well. Was that from the Siggy?
Some very nice expressions and poses from these guys captured throughout. Very nice work my friend.

Thanks Jay! Man you have to get out there buddy!!!
trailhiker wrote: Awesome work, Tim! I wish the Snowy Irruption had made its way just a "tad" further down to So Cal, but I'll have to be satisfied with your work and the others here. Unbeatable light on #s 10 and 11, and thanks for the pullback enviro look of #12; it really does help to put the Snowys' setting into perspective. And -- I know Tin Man Lee, too...we'd been in e-mail contact last year as he'd seen something on my website. Glad to see he's now here, and has met other FMers "in the flesh"!
Loved this series, Tim. I can only imagine how difficult it must have been to cull these from such a shoot. I especially enjoyed the expressions you presented here - really brings the bird to life -

Absolutely awesome shots Tim. I would be proud to put any of them on the wall, but 12 is my pick. That shot just has the feel of this is where he belongs.
Bill
Thanks so much, especially glad you like the wider shot
