If it's as sharp as the 70-200 mk II, I will pick up one. I don't care if it has IS or not...the focal length of this lens doesn't really warrant IS in my opinion. My 85L doesn't have IS and I can still get sharp images.

It is a good lens in the right conditions, i.e. not shooting wide open.
