I must admit Kruk, I do enjoy and look forward to your posts and this is no exception. I don't know where to start! Of course the angles all rock, I know you like to get down in the dirt 1 is beauty, just enough reflection to add interest. Mrs S looks as if she is setting on top of the water The waders are all classics, for the most part no nits, just pure eye candy. I might crop a little more off of the bottom of 5 but that is personal taste. The Stilt is a tour de force of an exposure. Man Kirk you hit this set out of park!
Thanks Tim, really glad you enjoyed the lineup... man I love that pond.
I almost didn't even post #5, the only reason it made the cut was because the reflection was so mirror-like... then I couldn't get it cropped to my satisfaction... you're idea is a good one.
I took a bunch of Stilt shots while the sun got higher and higher, I like this one because the sun was highlighting the browns and blacks so well.
Thanks for the input and very gracious words my friend... always appreciated.

Sublime color and detail in each beautiful image buddy, they each stand on their own as a tribute to your wonderful skill behind the viewfinder I'm bewildered to single one out but I do keep coming back to that last frame The clarity and plummage detail are just off the perverbial hook my friend, wishing hard it was mine

Really appreciate the good words buddy.
In spite of the late morning hour, I like that Stilt shot a lot too... I'll get him earlier next time.

These are freaking incredible but number 5 steals the show and made me sound as if I was taking a very labored bathroom break! Well done! You make d300 and 300 f/4 sing!
Trying imagine what a very labored bathroom break sounds like...
Really glad you enjoyed the set and thanks for good words.
