I'm not printing images with the lens, and used wide open, fast DX lenses work great I use the 35mm 1.8 DX and it just ad a nice vignette, not a circle like it does when stopped down. I need a macro for jewelry shots for a client, the images need to be 1000px x 1000px, so crop mode is way more than I need, specially since i stop the lens all the way and i still crop the circle the lens cast on the sensor. so back to my question, which one do you like better?

Bump for the 85mm -- fantastic lens (and more than a bit undervalued in most cases) -- it has fantastic reach and working distance especially for its size and weight. The 60 and 40 are also great but (IMHO) not so much"working" macro lenses as normal lenses which very close focusing distances... even though they the can go to 1:1, the working distances are so minimal it becomes very hard to light your subject. The 85mm can even take a 1:1 photo with the built in flash, in a pinch, and not even cast a tiny amount of shadow on your subject. Also about 1/2 of the price and weight of the 105mm -- it's only real down-side is not being an FX lens.
60mm is my standard "classified" lens. I use it to take photos of stuff I am selling. It doesn't need huge distance to the object which is convenient for larger items. But if you need it for wildlife, I'd go with 105mm. I am talking full-frame and no crop multiplier.
