be seen around the outside perimeters of the rear nodal element
if you hold the lens just right under a bright light. Neither
are enough to affect normal photography in my tests and IMO.

How much were you asking for it? Did you offer a complete description? Were there accompanying photos? I dunno why they wouldn't sell - the Oly 24 and 28 lenses are awesome! Well worth twice what I asked for it here!
I wonder if it's not just a case of a needle in a haystack? I had to scroll for what seemed like forever and reading the title I mostly only noticed ZEISS and 1D3 Mark III.
