This is a real jewel of a lens
Manual Focus and compatible with all modern Nikon DSLR cameras.
I own a couple and the one I use on my D700 has given me some sweet images
Compared to the modern Nikon 70-200 VR - this lens is a light as a feather - but the old, all-metal build is a treat.
Light enough to shoot hand-held on the D700.
