Mono suits this very well. The path leads out of the frame, making me think 'where does that go?' A nice shot.

Actually Pete it goes on for quite a ways, nice in the summer for bird shots, and dragon flies and such. Thanks for your comments.

Thanks Navyblue, it does lead to a forest in the background then turns into a dirt path, then a blacktop path, not quite a wilderness and is about a two mile square park.

I love the depth and textures of this image. Good call on the B/W conversion as it suits this image perfectly. I could definitely see having something like this hanging on my wall.
