I found the bokeh to be the most common crux with most Olympus lenses. It's really sad, because otherwise I like these lenses a lot for their size, mechanics and often sharpness. Until now I liked the bokeh from the macro (50 2.0 and 90 2.0) the best. Not really outstanding, but above average. The 100 2.0 may have a good bokeh, too, from what I've seen. Never tried this lens. But anything else from Olympus below 180mm (because of the 180 2.0)? Not my taste in the bokeh-department.
agreed on all counts. i'd love to try out the 250/2 and 350/2.8 though, i'm sure i'd be ok with their bokeh.
actually, i forgot the MC 35/2.8, MC 100/2.5 & 50/3.5 MC Macro
had two versions of the 24/2.8 aswell, but as they weren't any better than my sigma, i sold them together with a MC 28/2.0, which was too bulky for my taste.
If I may ask... Which of these two delivers the best micro contrast (super fine detail) when viewing the images at 100%? Besides the obvious features, what are the differences between these two?
I have the 300L so I know it pretty well but I keep hearing mixed comments about longer L lenses. What can you say them yourself?

Hi,
A few of the long FD glass & NEX-5n. And as far as "rubbish" goes, it is a poor craftsman that blames his tools...
I put with it because it just so crisp. We need some prettier adpaters---polished alu, engraved with baroque patterns....you know a good setting for the family jewels
Black NEX's actually looks pretty snazzy with the ZF/ZE line of lenses. If only they didn't have the silver noses. If Sony actually comes out with a FF NEX I wouldn't mind building a ZF (with aperture ring) stable of lenses for it.
Here's my little project, the rear mount was missing, so it was cheap, so I ordered a m39 to M-mount adapter, and used that so that I could guarantee it to be level with any adapter I buy, which I couldn't do with m39.
The lens is a Kominar-E 7.5cm/3.5 and has a 9 blade iris.(made by Nitto Kogaku Co)
I also have 2 50mm El Nikkors 1 f4 & 1 f2.8(both 8 blade), and a Leitz Focotar 50/4.5(10 blade)
Oh, and I made the strap.
Lightshow, you might want to consider using the head from an first-model Elmarit-M 90 on that set up. I haven't used it on bellows yet, but I did some shooting with it on tubes and it's a remarkable performer close up. 12 bladed iris to boot.
Here are a couple of very, very alt lenses -- a Canon 30/1.7 from a half-frame Demi camera, and a Kodak Cine Ektar 63/2.
Neither is perfect. The Ektar is fantastic optically, though it really doesn't cover the APS sensor very well. I sold it after rehabbing it, but wouldn't mind scavenging another some time.
The Demi lens is a nice match for the NEX, but it's a single-coated lens with a tendency toward veiling flare that makes it finicky. Still, interesting -- and one of the few wider lenses on a fixed lens rangefinder/viewfinder.
