Has anyone thought about using C-mount lenses on the V1/J1? I was thinking about it as an experiment. I see a C-mount adapter to 1 system available online.
Well, it would be nice to see samples... as I only find a lens producing flat images if the light is flat. I find my 10mm to produce good results so far... But again, I use manual exposure for complete control of the image.
I have one ... not looking for one. Just got it. But when someone talks about finding the lens flat - I like to see what he is talking about instead of just saying it. Because I don't find my lens produces flat images at all.

First I didn't say the "lens" was flat; the image was. My original post indicated I wasn't sure if it was camera or processing. This is a new system and perhaps Picassa (my processor) didn't suit up for the V1 system. In addition I shoot raw; a further complication.
Yup I know about the overexposure, that is the auto scene selection; It also lacks pop.
I went to View NX2 & tried different picture controls and found that landscape or vivid works better on this camera than standard setting (even in raw).
The V1 is a fun camera, and I have been playing around with the FT1 and the larger Nikkors as well ... all in all, I think I am enjoying it more than I expected ... I have put up some of the stuff here http://rohanthakursphotoblog.blogspot.de/search/label/Nikon%20V1 which I hope to regularly update.
