Lol, I don't know where the pats are from either. I was at the in-laws and some of the guys were talkign to me about the playoffs and steelers and blah blah blah. I said, you know what would make football much more interesting...if the teams only got paid if they won. Correction! In addition to getting another 5D MKII I got one each of the 50 f/1.2L, 70-200 f/2.8L IS II, and 16-35 f/2.8L.
I'm not going to talk about football teams because ours can't even beat PA.

I don't really "need" anything right now but I got a lens align and a Yosemite photo book that will keep me going for a while. I'll wait till the 100-400 mk2 comes out and then soften her up for that.
The lens align is great - really help my keeper rate with the fast primes! You will like it!

Treated myself to a 24L TS-E II - with the rebates and special offers I could no longer resist. But after buying the 300L (F/4 IS) from Craigslist in the fall I'm definitely on Santa's naughty list for 2012.

Can't compete with Jim's boxes of goodies, so it was a 'cheap' accessory Christmas.
New large Apecase for my lenses. Thought it would be bigger! Or maybe that means I need to sell a couple lenses...
Hakuba hand strap for my 7D. Thought it would be more comfortable. I think I need to keep looking.
Third party wireless shutter release from Vello. Transmitter does not work, so back to Amazon it must go.

My wife gave me a ... year of training at a local gym, so that I become more able to carry what photo gear I already have.
I'm in a market for a Sony E 55-210 lens for her but unable to find one in shops. Looks like she's going to get beauty salon treatment and not a lens this New Year. However I hope to procure this lens by March 8th or by her birthday in late April.

I grabbed a 5D mark 2, a 70-200 f/2.8 IS L II and a 50 f/1.2L....but....it had nothing to do with Christmas. It had everything to do with incredible deals.
