I like this, too. The vignetting works. The texture of thin verticals and the thin lines overall are nice. The high key aspect adds to the mystery. Nice!

Hi Barbara,
Yes, it was lying down. There is another, larger decrepit structure a 100 yards away with a rusted bike left leaning on the collapsed rubble. But not as photogenic.

As others stated, the subject, framing and processing all work very well together here.

I see the owner of the bike opted for the special lightweight saddle

. If you put some aero bars on there it might give my Cervelo P3C a challenge

Always worth cutting down the weight of the bike!
And he opted for the ultimate but difficult to control front aero wheel.
