Thanks for the 70-200 link. Just yesterday I talked myself out of the $2074 price. With this link the additional $100 off made me pull the trigger. A 'nice to have' lens turned into a 'must have'. '

OK, UPS has left the package at Dallas (a 4.5 hour drive away) for over 26 hours. I guess when they tell you 3 day delivery, well, they will hold it up until it is 72 hours and not a minute sooner, maybe later, but not sooner!

It will be easier to rationalize the 135mm purchase at a later date, since it's less expensive.
Next time when I order something from B&H, I shall be in touch with Henry Posner to explore that Conus free shipping feature: perhaps conus-heads from Canada could qualify for it as well ?

I'm always available to assist a customer with any out-of-the ordinary situation, but I think we can both recognize that a US customer from Alaska or Hawaii (outside the, "lower-48," but within the USA) has a different set of issues than someone from our neighbor to the north.

Henry, do you know anything about the Upromise site where you get discounts for college? Unfortunately B&H doesn't participate and I was wondering if you knew why. There are a few other photography stores that offer 1-2% back and I now see that the 70-200 lens is selling for the same price at one of those 'other stores' that offer an additional 2%. Sure would be nice if you guys participated

I hate ups. Asked for it to be held at terminal...seen "on vehicle for delivery"....go home, a package from newegg ups is there but no lens, and no info notice.
More than likely wont be able to get it until Monday. Gaaahhhhhh I want to play!
