One quick observation. I am finding it more difficult to quickly scan the listings the way it is now set up. The most important piece of data is the actual listing and I believe it would be easier to read if that was in the left most column instead of the status information. (My 2 cents.)
Kudos to Fred for the improvements acknowledging and acting upon the member's feedback.....
I agree, ....to me the status info isn't relative at all.....I could care less if the item was posted or updated within the last 24 hrs.......
I noticed the new format, & I like it, it's more "database" style than "freeform" style, which to me is a GOOD thing.
I am not a fan of the email button change, I MUCH prefer contacting via email because it saves steps in terms of not having to go to the site to read the message, it's already in my email & I can reply much quicker. This is ESPECIALLY the case when I'm doing this via my Android. Also, at the risk of being a cheapskate, I am not usually a subscriber unless I'm selling, but I shop for something to buy ALL the time, & when that's the case there's no possibility of communicating via email.
Figures that spammers would ruin things for someone like me who's been here since Nov 2004 with no problems, oh well.
Lastly: where it regards the price of an item when sold, it makes no sense to me why someone would decide that this price is some sort of "hush hush" type of thing, as if they work at the White House & it's the president's direct private phone line or something. It just seems silly to me. It so aggravates me, at times I've been tempted, when contacting someone about an item for sale, actually making it a point of emphasis that I will only buy from them if they leave the price in there after I've paid for it, because I'm just that strongly against the practice & don't want to sanction it in anyway. Note: okay, I saw the posting where you said one could click "previous versions" & see this information, so I guess that covers it.
However, I found that the maximum posting of 5 items and 4 pic upload quite limiting compared to the old free-text posting format. I certainly agree that this new format is more organized but perhaps we can allow for a longer listing in the post.
How about a field to put an url link at the top of the post instead of individually in each item's description?
Is it possible to allow for a price range entry instead of a specific pricing figure for listing of an item with multiple copies?
I have increased the maximum number to items from 5 to 8.
Now, members can have up to 8 items in a thread. You may add as many pictures as you would like for each item (using URL links in the description field). Additionally you may upload 4 photos with captions.
Hi Fred , I dont know why after you change the interface , my current upload & sell status is OFF now . I remember my membership should be end until 18 Jan , could you check this out for me ? I can send my paypal receipt to you .
Perhaps I've mis-read the instructions but I've encountered erratic behavior with posting images. I've added two items for sale with four images each but on both occasions a random number of two images were accepted. The edit function doesn't permit me to add images, only change the ones there. Am I missing something?

Thanks, Rich
Only 4 uploads are allowed per post. You may reply to your first post and add 4 more.
However, you may add as many URL links to images on the description form for each item.
I just joined for a Year tried to post three items FOR SALE with pictures buy it said I had exceeded my 600kb limit. How do I get two or three items with pictures under 600kb's? I know I'm probably in the wrong place but could not find anywhere else for help with posting.
I just wanted to add my opinion and thanks. Fred, the new format is really nice. I very much appreciate the work done here to create this new system.
My only pet peeve so far is that everyone seem sot thin that everything they are selling is a "10". Maybe the description for 10 could be defined as "sealed" new or similar?
