Pano ... maybe a little less space to the right of the ship.

Now you need to put a bottle silhouette frame around it.

I think it depends on the use, on the space that a print would occupy. Either crop could work, depending on that variable.

I tend to like the pano best. I like the cool version, I feel it fits the mood better.

Is it me or is the horizon a little wavy?

The horizon line is a large island mostly obscured by fog, mist and drizzle. The top of the island and its waterline are irregular

Interesting coloration, Kaden, although the reverse might work as well.

Illustrating why context (space, in this case) is king ...

I quite agree about context, Thomas. The full frame version has a somewhat different message of size and space, whilst the pano is about timelessness and grace.

Yup, Kaden - instant sun glory.

That's interesting Peano, where does one get such sample images to do this with?

I just grabbed hotel pictures off Google. Searched "luxury hotel rooms."

Hmmm.... I agree the compo is somewhat imbalanced, but I believe creating more space on the left would be a better way to balance the compo.

I like the image associated with these comments the best of what you have presented. I also think that monochrome (or subtle duo/quad tone) is the way to go.

The false coloration attempts remind me of when Turner Broadcasting took their classic movie catalog and colorized great black and white movies. It didn't work for "Casablanca" and it doesn't work with this image. I guess I'm a literalist and traditionalist. I'd never see what's been presented in nature.
