Looks like it's not going to make it over the net...great shot getting the compression...I mean distortion!! Well played.
Thank you. Yes, this shot went right into the net time after time with multiple attemps at getting the timing right. I had a remote trigger in my left hand and I dropped the ball right in front of the lens. Then I would push the button a bit before my swing through the ball. It took a while to get it just right. , what a fun waste of time
Thank you, and I'm glad you got a kick out of the title. I wonder why that's the first thing that came to my mind I don't think I've actually matured any since 5th grade
Thank you Mark I appreciate it but I have to give some credit to the 2 local camera clubs I belong to and FM. I have learned so much from being involved with the FM family, some exceptional photographers belong to this group.

Also I was going to call that ball already out from the singles line but since you said "doubles" I figured it was a play on words that you were playing doubles but your partner isn't in the frame.

Yep, that ball would be out for singles, and also I probably should have included some player models for effect.

Awesome shot Mark, I usually hate selective colour but it works really well here helping to accentuate the distortion of the tennis ball / racquet.
Well done!
Hi Craig, missed you here this week, but I hope you make a comeback with "Rule of thirds". I'm glad you like my attempt this week.

Thanks Mairi,
I hope so, but I'm definitely not counting chickens. There are a lot of good shots here again this week. I'm waiting to see what you come up with next as well. Hope you enter this week.
