I bought this from a friend, so I am not original owner.
Date code on the lens is UZ, so it is still pretty new. However, there are some minor scartches on the ring of lens where shows "canon 16-35mm F2.8.....". And one scartches you can see from picture. Other then that, it is great condition.
About CPL. there are 3 dings on the side of ring, other than that, CPL is still good.
