Care to share any details on that shot? Tripod? Flash?
I'd like to get more "hits" than "misses" with my DP3.
Yes sure. I don't use flash, all my photography is natural light. DP3 always use tripod, occasionally manual focus if the area has a lot of contrast at the rear of the subject. For anything I want ideal detail I keep to iso 100 - 200. Also in Sigma Photo pro, I put all noise sliders to zero. You wont get the detail unless you do. From SPP into Ps Cs6, I smart sharpen very lightly if at all,as that happens on export, if I do it is Amount 20-25 Radius 0.2/0.3 The files don't often need sharpening. This work flow is from Raw and 16bitTiff. I then export for web using Bicubic sharper.
Quite a simple work flow really.
The DPm series have a leaf shutter which is a great advantage , along with a tripod which can be a pain to carry, but the best image stabilizer system ever.
