Wow! I used to particpate in this thread, but it seems like light-years ago, and quality has shot up to the point my pics feel hardly adequate. Many "usual suspects" from other threas, with beautiful stuff, Jim Schemel (pity you cropped that low on an otherwise gorgeous flower and pic IMHO), TSdevine, Tri Tran, Joanlvh, Philip Reeve of course. But the one who dropped my jaw is Ronny Olsson. Fantastic, bar-raising, wall-hanging stuff! And lots of it, too!
My own pics, with NEX and Leica Summilux 50 on a helicoid adapter. Interesting how different the rendering from my Leica R 60 Makro on the same NEX
Philber - you are correct about my tulip shot, that is the way it was taken i had no room left
You are too hard on yourself those are some beautiful tulip shots, esp first and last.

Here are a few more dandelion shots.I love dandelions esp when they go to seed.
All taken with 1Ds and 50 Takumar and extension tubes
Azelea in Early Morning Sunlight, Olympus OM-D E-M5 and Olympus 45mm f/1.8. I was getting blah results with the traditional in-the-shade-to-avoid-high-dynamic-range approach. Then I remembered that I wasn't in, um, Canonsas any more, Toto... I rather like the drama of contrast and shadows in direct early morning sun, as the OM-D handles it.
