You are of course very welcome to join us!
So, there are two new tours on the way. The first one is a bit different, and is near Halle. The tour is described as a Märchenschloss, which means a fairy tale castle. It is disused, but in perfect condition, no graffiti or destruction here, but completely devoid of people, of course, other than the tour, and there is probably piles of dust. Lurker X (provided he can make it), has offered to drive up to 7 people (including himself) in his mini-bus-like Volkswagen, and we can all share the gas and expenses, which will be cheaper than the train. If he can't make it, the train is still quite affordable. We were trying to arrange for November 23 (a Sunday!), but it was sold out while I hemmed and hawed, so the date will have to be chosen anew, probably in early 2015 (or possibly 7.12, also a Sunday; I cannot the 30.11 date, and neither can Stefan (H.Lux)). The page is here:

I will book soon. Is anyone in? Plan extra time for travelling from Berlin to and from the location. I may or may not stay the night there, either before or after, partly depending on interest from others.
The other tour will start in the spring, around March, and is a Brikettfabrik (factory for the production of coal briquettes), so should rather appeal to the industrial lover than the romantic. I will also attend this, but don't yet know which date. The page is here:
Brikettfabrik
Both are about a 2 hour drive or train ride from Berlin, so quite manageable. Both tours start at 10, and later in the tour schedule, at 11, so a 7:30 train or car departure would be necessary, most likely, for same-day travel.
