I will go on board at Südkreuz. Maybe we can meet in the last waggon of the train? I don't think that portrait photos are necessary - we all carry tripods, that should be sufficient
So does everyone else going on the tour, around 30 people usually, although about 2/3 usually drive...

I'm looking forward to see you all tomorrow! Does anybody else take the train that arrives at 10:27 in Wünsdorf? A restaurant in Berlin afterwards is a good idea. Phillip, LurkerX and Boris: I hope, the next Berlin meeting won't be taking too long to happen...
Maybe we should start planning a little? September is quite full for me, but October is possible.

Last time I was the only one going by train. Besides, with the exception of Joakim, we all know each other this time and Joakim helped us with his self-portrait...
I just read that the train drivers (including the S-Bahn!) will strike tomorrow morning between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. Theoretically this could affect us, when our train starts too late... Keep this in mind and I hope we have luck...
If it is just between those times, then we could take the next train. They go at least once an hour. We would be a bit late, but would still have several hours there, which is probably enough in any case.
If you have some serious problems getting to Wünsdorf tomorrow morning I could drive you to Wündsorf and then return to Berlin. I have seven seats in my car. Meeting Point would then be U-Bahnhof Lipschitzalle. Just contact me if you need some help. Philippe has my phone number.
Guys, I need directions. How do I get to Wunstorf? I am staying in Kurfürstenstrasse, and haven't been reunited with my baggage. See you tomorrow. Maybe. I hope. :-)
Phlilippe, I hope your gear isn't in your baggage!
Regarding the connection: the nearest train station for you is "Potsdamer Platz", right below Potsdamer Platz (the large entrances). You have to catch the train RE18307 (going to Elsterwerda) which shall arrive at 9:34 a.m.. Most of us will already be in this train.
To Potsdamer Platz, a bus (M48, Richtung Alexanderplatz) is the fastest connection (8 minutes), or by taxi or just walking.
The main potential problem is, that our train starts early in morning at the baltic sea, during the strike. If it doesn't start at its time, it wouldn't be arriving in time for us.
Boris, many thanks for your offer! I think we all should at least exchange phone numbers to coordinate us in case the train won't arrive. I will send my number by PM to all of you.

I'll do the easiest, meaning a taxi to HBF. If you can just give me a train and time. I have my gear except for my tripod. Any of you guys have 2?
I have a second (very small, but it holds my Canon DSLR) tripod for arca swiss plates. Would that be okay?

That would be great, and I am most grateful! I have a A7R, and an Arca-Swiss mount. Now what time do I need to be at HBF and for which train?
Perfect, I bring it with me.
For the train see my post above: the train is a RE18307 (going to Elsterwerda) and arrives at 9:29 a.m. at Berlin HBF.
I'll be there. If I don't get my luggage until then, I'll look less thank best, but other photographers have looked frumpy before me! And thanks again!
