I also put in my reservation.
Regarding bikes, I could bring one for myself plus one extra if someone needs it.
Whether we take bikes or car, just let me know which S-Bahn to meet at, and the time of course
Just noticed that the plans become concrete. Carsten, could you check me in too? Very busy times for me right now. Thanks.
It may be of interest for the planning outside of Chemiefabrik, that the 9th is the date of the first match of german national soccer team in the european championship (not verified yet). Public viewing and lots of people around Brandenburger Tor / Unter den Linden. Opportunity for street/people shooting, I presume.
I booked LurkerX a ticket as well. So far I have Philippe, Heinz and LurkerX, as well as myself of course.
In fact, the area surrounding the site has not only more industry, but very close by there is also lots of green, so we have the possibility of doing both without moving much in between. Maybe we could meet for mid-morning brunch, then take the tour, and afterwards hang out in the greenery a bit, then dine and head back for some sunset photos around Brandenburger Tor or the Regierungsviertel or something similar?
I'd rather not get too close to a football crowd. Of course, Germany will win that game, but still, I am not sure how well they fit with breakable photographic equipment...
We should avoid overcrowded places while carrying extensive photographic equipment. Maybe at the evening we should take handy equipment.
For the tour to Chemiefabrik we could rent a van.
Philippe, sorry, I forgot the smiley -- or better formulated it as a warning, since I am for sure no dedicated soccer fan... And may new gear is not more eager to be exposed to crowds as yours
Carsten, thanks! I'm looking forward to a promising event!
