Carsten, thanks a lot for the invitation. That would be great, and it has been 32 years since I last visited Germany (Travemünde, I was 2 yrs old at the time). Perhaps I might be able to join sometime. Do you have strict rules concerning Alt equipment?
Not really, although it helps to be able to post shots here afterwards What camera do you use, the 60D? There would probably be a good chance of trying other people's stuff. Sigma, Tamron, Helios, it seems like you have some alt stuff...
True, it would help with the posting side of things (although I would then invariably bring down the generally excellent level of images on here). I currently have the 60D, and my latest alt glass acquisition is the Samyang 35. I also have some other alt glass, but my workhorse lenses are from the usual third party suspects (Sigma 8-16, Tamron 17-50, Sigma 85), which probably aren't considered very alt - especially on a Canon crop body.
Then there's the ubiquitous Helios 44-2 and a not-very-inspiring Revuenon 135 f/2.8.
I have been considering some C/Y glass and a switch to FF. Perhaps I will join you, when I have completed the switch, so that I have something to work with myself. In the meantime, I shall enjoy the very fine work put out by the group.
Jaakko, as Carsten said, it should be a good opportunity to feel and try some alt glass that you are considering. I will bring a small collection of CY glass
I have been observing this thread a long time and never had time, when you met. This time though it seems I could join you. I shoot mostly with Leica-R and Mamiya 645 lenses on Canon 5DII.

As the Berlin meetings has turned into great success I'm sure there will be more of them. I'm monitoring the thread and hope to be able to join a coming encounter. 5 points to you for keeping administrating them!
