Okay. Hmm. We now have more cars than needed, but I guess that isn't a bad thing. I guess everyone could choose whether they would rather meet Lurker X in south-west Berlin, or Boris in south-east Berlin. Markus lives in sw Berlin, but we need decisions from: Philippe and Bernhard. Bernhard lives in Kreuzberg so it might be easier for him to meet up with Boris. He might even take his own car, I will ask (since I think he isn't really reading the forum at the moment).
Bernhard, Philippe, I could pick you up for example at the subway station Lipschitzalle (U7). Alternatively I could come to the city centre and pick you up there if you prefer this.
I am guessing that Philippe is *really* busy right now, with Greece going to polls about cutting expenses and possibly dropping out of the Euro. I am sure he will be happy to meet you wherever is convenient. He normally stays in a hotel near Checkpoint Charlie, if that helps you pick a place.
I asked Bernhard how he prefers to go, but he didn't answer yet. I am sure he will drop by soon and let you know what he is doing.

Hi there,
I do not mind really. I can go with my own car, or with someone else, or pick up someone. I am living in Kreuzberg, not far from the Autobahn and I know the way to Beelitz.
So I prefer no complications and the easiest way to get there.
Thankfully, I am not in Cannes, where the weather (and not only the weather) is bad and unsuitable for photography...:-)
Boris, i'll meet you where it is convenient for you.
Okay, so we are set for cars. I will come with my friends, Lurker X will pick up Markus, and Boris will pick up Bernhard and Philippe. I guess the three drivers all know where Beelitz is, so we can start to plan the times even before we know exactly where we are supposed to meet up for the tour. It is in fact closer to Berlin than I thought, only about 50% further than Tiergarten-to-Potsdam, so for safety's sake, maybe we could meet around 10.15 at the three locations and drive from there.
I will return with more information about where we meet when I have it.
I am sorry, I cannot attend again. But for those who attend, I have an interesting link. The German magazine "Der Spiegel" is right now publishing a photo series about The Heilstätten Beelitz.
Hi Philippe, if you are out of the airport at 9:30 it should be ok (this means just hand luggage, if possible). It takes nearly one hour from the airport to Beelitz. Do you travel to Tegel or to Schönefeld? I could pick you up at either airport. Schönefeld would be a 5 minutes from where I stay and Tegel is about one hour away.
You made it! Welcome I like your last two! Very strong colours.
Countdown to Beelitz: two days. I have sent the instructions to the drivers. Please inform your passengers. I believe that Bernhard is thinking of driving himself, since he is a bit ill and may want to leave early.

Hey, great!
I was, for a while, afraid we didn't do any progress at all....
Aber, why is my red rucksack orange? It's like a high ISO Canon 5DMkII image... I like the first one in your second post - and it's a subject I didn't notice during our day at the Pork Factory.
@all: I wish you a nice weekend with a lot of great images, friendly chatting and a moderate amount of beer. I wish I could have joined you but that's unfortunately not possible. Some time next year!
That's how it is Carsten; anyone working in the health care sector can be identified by the way they happily give away good advices for other to follow. "Don't smoke", or "stay sober".
Or, I am just jealous...
I really like your last two shots, Lurker, with the first my favorite.
Jonas, sorry you couldn't make it. Neither can Heinz, it seems. But beer brings people together, doesn't it? So, with enough beer, it will seem almost like both of you are with us...
