Very clever! Ditto Hallmark, although for a greeting card I would re-shoot it with a more traditional ring and get rid of that dark streak/shadow.
edit: the shadow on the edge of the ring, duh! Not the heart shadow. What is that anyway? Your camera reflected in the gold?
Heysquirt, it's a fun shot to play around with. There are many options to experiment with. I plan on going back to the drawing board and play some more. Who knows I may develop a little more atypical shot than the norm.
Ckella, I would agree about shooting with a different more traditional ring. I would also like to try and shoot the image with a completely different style of ring as well. The shadow is myself and the camera. I shot the image around midnight and I don't think I was fully functional.
Captain, thanks for the encouraging words but the FM family is compromised of many talented photographers. I know it will be stiff competition. I still like to try and challenge myself by participating in the WA.
