The UV filter the OP is showing in this thread is not the same as the UV filter you are linking in the sale with the other RE-Seller. The filter in the thread you are linking to is clearly marked 72 SLIM 010 1x.
Look at the previous versions of the post, specifically the first version and you'll see a picture of the filter. That is the one that I received, as well as the one that was sold to nanogram.
Thank you
FWIW this filter new from B+H is less than $65.
And your point of posting the sale price @ B&H is ?
Also, since it is known that B&H is an authorized dealer for B&W filters and they sell this model how could it possibly be a fake

Authorized dealer or ? - the F-PRO should be brass with black anodize finish - the "Made in Germany" does appear a larger scale than a CPL that I have - the F-PRO looks correct. How do the coatings look.
Brass can't be anodized. Anodizing is forming aluminum oxide on the surface of aluminum then using an organic dye to make the oxide layer whatever color you want. The aluminum oxide is harder than aluminum and prevents further corrosion (you can argue that aluminum oxide is a form of corrosion).
If it IS brass, it can be black chromed (not likely as that is highly reflective) or painted. There are also some chemicals that will turn brass black or near black but most of those contain cyanide and that isn't anodizing (it is more like gun barrel blueing).

B&H does not sell the Aluminum version AFAIK and I'm certain they don't sell knock offs.
This is why I'd rather pay $65 at B&H and know that I'm getting a genuine brass B+W filter. It doesn't hurt any that they now have NAPP discounts either.
The B&H web site clearly states the filter they sell is brass and the one in this thread is not.
Since you already refunded the OP the purchase price why come back and edit old posts a day later?

Only because I saw that you edited your post to include the reference to price and B&H's link. I did indeed refund the buyer his money thus it looks like I may be the who got shafted being that I bought the filter here, for more than I sold it for BTW. I would ask the original seller where he bought it from but it's not really worth the effort IMHO.
Speaking of editing posts, perhaps you should edit yours where you mistakenly made reference that the one I sold was not the one I linked to ? Obviously you didn't read the previous posts where there was a pic of the filter showing the same one that nanogram posted ??
You can check the date where I PM'd him in relation to the pic of the filter.

I don't see any mention by you in that thread about filter photos but if you say so I'll roll with that.
Did I miss the feedback from the thread in question for the filter as well?

Is So.....I'll gladly stand corrected but that's still not the same filter that B+H carries irrespective of where you bought it.
Good catch, I never did leave feedback for Jie (Kevin Hummer) but now that you pointed it out I just did. As far as photos that Jie posted of the filter just look at his first two original post. It clearly shows pics of it.
You're apology isn't necessary but gladly accepted . I'm just glad we can put this to rest. Looking forward to discussing more important things with you Dave.
