I understand your attitude, C 645 80mm f/2 is exclusively used for medium format camera, but here I am using it creatively on 5D2 as following the first art merit : creativity, and maybe it's the first one that keeps AFand AA.So PLS take this opportunity to compare your FULL MF picture to this PARTIAL MF, hope you can find something interesting.
contas, medium format is a capture format, not a lens size. Why don't you post such photos in the Zeiss thread (since Contax lenses are made by Carl Zeiss)?
Good stuff, lovely tonalities (if a bit strong). I like the last one best, but the first one is also very good. The middle one doesn't really touch me.

Thanks Carsten! They are all from the same roll, and that's the only reason for posting the middle one at the same time. It probably would do better alone. It's also a bit "overcooked", which I didn't notice when doing the PP.
And yes, the tonality is "strong", but I think that should be the signature of my B&W images.
Edit: By the way, here's me shooting the last one, captured by a friend and his iPhone:
When I say strong, I mean that the greys are de-emphasized in favour of the pure blacks and whites. I think these images could have some more grey-tones without losing any of the impact.

Hmm, I wonder if that has something to do with your screen? Sure, the contrast is high, but there are plenty of gray tones. Just have a look at the histogram of any of the shots. I'm processing the files so that they will look like prints, not that dull and gloomish look that most other people seem to want.
So, are you coming to Berlin at some point?
Probably not, but I promise to contact you via FM if it happens!
A few from me, they are all with a Hasselblad 501CM, 50CT and on Portra 400 converted to B&W in Lightroom. I'm beginning to really like Portra 400 in B&W, it reminds me of BW400CN which was my favourite B&W film (yes I know heresy for some, C41 B&W and even worse, colour C41 converted to B&W...)

I don't think it's heresy - just a little surprising considering some of the advantages of "native" B&W films (never thought I'd ever have to make the distinction). Options abound at ISO 400, though I do like Portra 400 too...especially in color!
