Hi Carsten, thanks. Yes it is! I've been shooting with it and nothing else for the past year. Although the S2 lenses are incredible, I find myself going back to the Zeiss lens more often than not because it gives me a look that is similar to a Noctilux f1 ... but with more predictability. The big sensor and the lens work really well together.
Nice mood in those shots, Phillip, but is there something different about the colours compared to your other lenses? They feel murkier somehow (not just darker).

hmm, i think the reason might be the light, postprocessing was maybe a bit less than usual.
Do you mind having a look at my other shots with the G28 and tell me if you think the color is different in all of them? resized | full resolution on flickr
edit: i just replaced the 3rd image with differently processed version
I looked at the shots, and I get a similar feeling from many, but not all, of them. I am not quite sure what it is which strikes me. Maybe this combination just doesn't get a lot of separation into the colours in dark areas? The couple of shots which are better are also the ones which have more light.
Luka, I like your tree shots. They work for me, in search of english words the best I can come up with is dreamy. I am like the last person to guide you on PP, but what happens if you add contrast to those?
Philip_pj, like your shots. I am weary about getting either ZE21 or even a dreaded Nikon/ZF one ones to get the manual aperture. How's the CY and what camera are you using it on? Apparently there can be the usual interference with the 5D2 mirror.
Here's another CY 28-85. In wait for among other things a CY 50/1.4 I think I am going to use this lens a lot. It's very versatile and sharp like many good primes. Sorry for continuing the postcard theme :-)
@wfrank. Great shots with the 28-85. I also have that lens. Highly underestimated, mostly because of it's size. I prefer this one over the 35-70 that has not enough spread for me. Plus the 28-85 is reasonably priced compared to the 35-70.
