Briantho, really like the last one. Very tasty and great tones! Too much text distract but awesome nevertheless.
Here's a shot with a Carl Zeiss Jena 135/3.5 Zebra (very cool) that arrived today. This is a F/5.6 shot, a wideopen example (including a photo of the lens) was posted in the NEX thread https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/969329/228#10446913
I find it very hard to use FL 135 with a NEX, as I did with e.g. the Contax G90. It's very shaky and I have no other trick than use a very very fast shutter time. If someone can provide any tip I would welcome it! :-)

Thanks. Nice shot, been on that boat a few times
If you don't like to carry around a tripod, have you tried the pod? http://thepod.ca/
I have the red pod, and it comes in handy some times.
Some more from today, C/Y Vario-Sonnar 28-85 on Canon 5D2. I like the lens' versatility, but I do think the odd pump-action draws dust into the camera house (!?)

Hmm, these don't quite work for me. Somehow the composition feels lost. Cut off roots and so on.

Actually, I want to slightly change my comment, Luka: I like the second shot. There is something melancholic about it which I like.
Thank you for your comment Carsten.
Although I called them tree portraits, they are not quite 'portraits'. #2 is more on the portrait side. I was drawn to the space #1, #3 presented. But wanted to go with deeper dof, because I was also drawn to the tree in silhouette which flattened out the scene. I am still drawn to them, but I see what you mean.
philip_pj - Very nice set. I like the wall texture. Very tactile.
