Well. Bokeh with it's absolut central relevance is such a sophisticated term in modern photography, that I am possibly too old and too dumb to even understand it's meaning. I just see f.i. Samuli's phantastic and really breathtaking photo examples taken with the 2.8/25 and can't find them anything else but overwhelming.
I believe Samuli has the Contax 25/2.8, not the Z* (which focuses closer). I don't remember seeing close-ups with the Contax 25 from Samuli though (only landscapes).
I think if you could see larger versions, the first 100MP tree might look better, unless you prefer it because of the airport and the people. It is difficult to down res very large images nicely, for some reason. I am watching the PP thread casually to see if any breakthrough is coming
Hmm, looking at that second shot again, I think I need to revisit the processing. There is some ringing and a brittle look overall. Not my best effort.

yes carsten,i prefer that shot for the taken scene not for the PP
and i know too..it's so hard resize shots for web!

Looks over-sharpened, but actually, this is due to the processing.

Nice rendering on that lens, Vincent! I am surprised, I didn't have the impression that it was so great from previous comments, but it does look very strong.
Luka, I don't use Lightroom I don't generally add much "Definition", which is Aperture's equivalent, and in this shot I didn't add any. The only setting which is unusually strong is fill light. The contrast was rather high and I think I underexposed a bit. I will have to try again.
Ah, yes I forgot that you weren't an LR user Yes, fill light can produce a similar HDR-like effect. I suppose the commandment has to be changed to include it as well
