S-Planar 100/4 C/Y with Mutar II. This Mutar is 2X and, unlike the Mutar I, can only be used with certain lenses due to mechanical clearance. It sure is a heavy bastard when attached to the Contax bellows assembly. The SP100 has optical performance to burn, so image degradation is mild. No movements were used. Taking aperture was f/16 (effective f/32) to gain DOF and exterminate moire. Studio setup was complicated, but post was minimal (almost SOOC).
G vs CY, very different. Sebboh, first shots on last page super. And Samuli, you CY60 shots make me interested in that lens. Superb. And Ronny, you know how I adore some things I've seen from the CY28/2 and on previous page you show some killer dog shots which seem to be the exact size of object for that lens. Bigger is not allowed. And Phillip w the G90 of course. I have that lens and get something similar from it, long tima ago now. More clinical than temperamental, I think you confirm that. Thanks for sharing!
Here are more humble CY 35-70 shots. Assume all are at F/3.3 but focal length may differ. Cars cars from today, bare with me.
Ronny, this image is simply quite exquisite. Absolutely beautiful! The light is amazing, the colors and contrast, the composition, everything. I can't stop looking at it. Thank you for sharing this with us!
So my new lens came and I've been anxious to give it a try. However, we are transitioning from winter into spring here and everyday has been cold and blustery with no color or signs of life. Nothing much interesting to shoot here this time of year but still had to get out and give it a try. Handheld (I'm a fair weather shooter and it was too cold and windy to mess with the tripod, lol) with the Df and Zeiss 21 Zf.2 Thanks for looking
P.S. I have to admit, I'm technically challenged... and having trouble uploading the image from my Macbook Pro to an appropriate size here. Any tips Thank you in advance
