Great macro shot Ronny...most of all you recent macro's have been phenomenal!
Been a while since I posted..recently picked a like new C/Y 28-85 for a good price! What a great walkaround, and has that great Zeiss POP! A few from a recent trip to the City(S.F.)..Thaks for looking,
Gregg
Very nice BWs Greggf! I like 4th most I think. It really does have a bit of "old photo" look.
Thank you Mescalmba!!
Really starting to enjoy the C/Y 28-85! Granted it's slow, but it still has great pop, with all the other Zeiss characteristics!!

Well as far as Zeiss zooms go, its either that or nothing. Would be nice if they released some regular ZF/ZE zooms too.
28-85 is on my "eventually will buy" list, compared to Canon or Nikon offerings its really interesting.

...There is the 3.3/35-70, too, which has a fantastic macro, too. But I felt it lacking in overall range. Although, it did have some serious 3D pop to it though! But I think I like the 28-85, better, although, it is very hard to focus wide open at 28mm...much more so than my ZE 28?? go figure!

I have been way too busy to post. I keep shooting but no time to PP or post.
Great shots representing various zeiss lenses !
Just from the last page
Lieutenant - That grass shot is gorgeous. Love your pp work on that.
briantho - Beautiful color, very painterly. Gorgeous rendition of clouds
Ronny - Great street sereis, and the bug shot. I also like the architecture shot.
Greggf- Really nice work with 28-85. #1,3,5 of the first series are my favs. #1 for the rendition of bow of the boat, #3 for the tonality, and #5 for the composition.
PIcture this- Beautiful place. I like the vertical composition.
Mescalamba - That's cute.
R.Young - nice lighting

Thank you kindly, Akul!! The 28-85 makes for a great city walk around lens. I wish it was a bit faster, but that's what primes are for!!

I'm trying to decide between the 35/2 and 50P for my first Zeiss lens. I've rented both and love both, but they're different enough to make this a hard decision. I've been lusting after the 35 for over a year now, but I recently tried the 50P and love the size and handling and OOF rendering. Really torn on this one...
