just saw this .. .http://www.adorama.com/ZILS352FSK.html
but careful, it might be an error as these slotted hoods are usually available for M only.

from here .. .http://www.adorama.com/catalog.tpl?op=itemlist&cat1=Cameras%20%26%20Lenses&cat2=Lenses%20%26%20Accessories&cat3=Lens%20Hoods&feature1=Zeiss

Might be useful. Also these hoods from Zeiss directly are even more expensive.

Ant.

Those snail shots are very neat.

Bob, it is not an HDR image I think I will slowly shift towards not using HDR, for when I feel that a shot in a series is strong enough not to require it.

That's funny because I've been experimenting the opposite direction. I rarely use/rely on HDR but have been experimenting with it for a natural looking result.

The synced snails are cool :-) And the flowers continue to amaze. I had to have a go today despite the rain.

There's always the innovator, then comes embarrassing copycat attempts. These belong to the latter. My (Samsung) apologies to Ronny (Apple).

Thanks for the kindly comments!
It's a dried bud from one of these flowers: http://tesselator.gpmod.com/Images/_Image_By_Lens/TamronSP_60-300mm_F3.8_Macro/_1020161.jpg sitting on the corner of a standing cigarette package.

Here's some green ones I'm hoping the largest of which I can time-lapse opening... Might be too young tho. :-/

Yes, i think ultimately both are valuable and valid tools. It is too bad that so many people react so strongly and negatively to HDR images, because the technique can really be used to pull something out of a place which isn't possible with normal photography.

Thanks, Ronny!

Ant, Wilhelm, Wayne - thank you !

schoenberg3 - Gorgeous misty forest shot.

Phillipp- Beautiful series of forest shots. Love your color and detail.

Wilhelm - Ha ha, gnome shots is just funny ! And, wonderful to see different stuff, like flowers! Very crisp.

Bif - Very nice portrait / candid ? of the girl in water. Nice flower shot too.

Ronny - Great to see your shots here ! Beautiful flowers.

Carsten - Great series of interior shots with 28. I like the composition of second one ( square crop )

I have been trying to find a spot for CY 2.8/28. I am not overwhelmed when used for landscape, but when I start playing around out of formal style of shooting, it gives me surprise. I may like this lens more now.

Put in it under your bed Bif and in the morning there will be a clone of you. Its does raise questions though, should your clone takes better pictures than you and if you are bothered by it using your gear ..and wearing your underwear.

Oh great! Now I'm scared to go to sleep!

And if my clone is plant-based life will it take macro close-up of people parts? It seems only fair after all, I mean we people are obsessed with shooting their private parts...

Hmmm so if it keeps my current style would the other clones arrest it for publishing pornography? And would the above classify as child porn?

Damn, leave it to one ant to open a can of worms...

Luka, very nice compositions in your pictures..
Bif, excellent detail and lighting

Guys, I've been wandering to get a C/Y 50 1.4 over the ZF 50 1.4, any opinions here? I generally like lenses that are sharp and quite contrasty, usually shoot at f/1.4-5.6.

In the mean time, here are some shots from 35 f/2

freezes: Fine and good shots with 35 f / 2
Excuse my double entries on some pictures I posted before the ZE / ZF / ZM Images (Official Thread!) Thought it might be some who have not seen that tends to be in this thread :-)
