Sounds like an interesting lens. I am more and more appreciative of lenses with sharp centres and soft corners wide open, as long as they render nicely and stop down well, so this sounds perfect to me. I'll see if I can't find one for a reasonable price. The sellers often want insane prices for these, so I guess I will have to be patient.
It often lists for much more, as much as double, and you can't talk reason into those people. Like several other Rolleiflex lenses, they do not come up so often, and some sellers just have crazy ideas about their value. I would happily pay more than 527, but not 900+.
Still looking for the Zeiss look. This has some I think. Black eyed guy football beer pause, half time brake - UEFA Eurocup 2012. Well, we lost against England and went down the drain, but at least we beat the French
Carsten, very nice. I like the myriad of lines and directions created by the beams, the ladder etc. Maybe you should get the new Zeiss 15mm to widen your horizon (pun soo intended)?
Haha, I thought of it, but too much money for too little use. I also thought of the 14-24, which is somewhat cheaper The 17 TS-E would be perfect for this, but I am a Nikon die-hard and Canon can do no right, Nikon no wrong, so no go I do have a 16mm Nikkor fisheye. Maybe I will bring it next time I go to this site.
