Very frustrating 'party experience' with the x100. Is anyone using the ef20? I don't feel like trying to set camera and flash settings walkin around at a party...the on board. Well the camera keeps trying to outsmart me by changing things even in manual mode.
Just bought this camera to add to my D7000 kit for a good quality walk-around. I'm enjoying it very much so far, and learning my way around the idiosyncracies.
Nothing special here, just a few quick shots from Old Town Montreal last weekend, wandering around late at night taking in some of the Christmas spirit when I was visiting on a conference.
OK - I've had the camera for a few days and it's time to post some pics. Most photos were cropped in LR, but that's all I did to them. I took them with ISO on "A", obviously F2, and the show shots on MF, set at about 10M, as we were sitting pretty close. It was a sold-out show with 750 patrons. My wife and have been to a few of these in the past but this is the first time we brought the kiddos.

That looks like a great wedding, particularly the location. Is it in Central Florida?
my god… this fuji camera is .. insanely beautiful and the pictures from it are nothing but amazing. Given many people reported the color and contrast are so good, I really want to get my hands on one…
All from this little cam… speechless. How much of PP did you do on them?

oh boy do your shots bring back so many good memories of my 7 years in PNS, 68-75. I still regret having left. Those tall buildings going up were all the talk and the argument about whether or not and if so, how, they would ruin the Beach. Last time I was down your way was in mid 90's and I was surprised to see that pretty much of the National Seashore between Navarre and PNS Beach was still pristine. Thanks for the memories...

Tony,
That pic is on Perdido Key where I live. Pcola beach is littered with them now but has helped it become a pretty big tourist destination. I have only lived here since Jan 09 but think I may just settle here after retirement. Thanks and hopefully more pics to stir the memories
