Fotosnaiper (300/4.5) adapted to an Nex-5N. I modified a cheap remote to the trigger, so it can trip the shutter when the trigger is pressed. ![]() |

Argh, painful re-purchase for the MMJ C/Y 35/1.4, as mine was stolen. |

I just bought an Olympus 50mm f/1.2 Zuiko. The lens is in great condition and got the original shade with it. First impression is positive. Will take time to compare it against my current Leica 50/2 Summicron-R and possibly some other 50mm lenses. ![]() ![]() And finally a shot (and 100% crop) of my daughter at f/1.2. The crop has tiny bit of sharpening with Lightroom and could possibly handle a bit more before looking bad. 5DII @ ISO400 & f/1.2 ![]() First impression is positive. It's reasonably sharp at f/1.2 but nowhere near my Zeiss 35/2, but still perfectly usable for most shots. It seems to sharpen up at f/2 but I need to test it more. There's lot of CA wide open but seems easily correctable in Lightroom. Hrannar |

Found this nice set in the classifieds. Had a long, nice chat to the former owner when I picked it up. Can't wait to try out the PC Distagon but will probably have to sell some other gear to fund the purchase. |

Congrats Hrannar, I have one and it's very good to use wide open, almost on par with Rokkor (which I sold) for my taste. |

Nice job! Is it the same lens as Samyang 35/1.4? |

I've been on a bit of a Contax binge lately. (Contax AX with 35-70/3.4 and Contax 139Q with 50/1.7...139Q is little more than a lens cap at this point since it has the shutter release magnet failure issue) |

I finally managed to find a Zeiss ZF.2 85/1.4 for a reasonable price, and I am impatiently awaiting it now. |
