I hope so.
I don't know why I keep buying all these soft style options.
I guess I'm a total softy, *8^)
I have soo many different style soft lenses now, it's crazy.
I'll have to catalog them, and make a giant comparison compilation some day.

If it is in good condition I think you will be very happy with it on FF and APS-C. The lens holds up very well even on my NX200, while still retaining the variable SF effect.

Tamron SP 70-150mm/2.8 Soft Focus Adaptall 2, in Minolta SR mount.
Have get an adapter now.
Is there an EOS Adaptall 2 adapter, or FD only?

Woo, eBay shows that there are adaptall 2 to EOS mount adapters, cool.

Ah, another one wants spherical aberration control - I bought for that a second copy of the Sigma YS System Focusing 135mm f/2.8 with extra macro focus ring, which allows me to get to different bokeh quality with one lens.

Yeah, I already have many different ones, my recent being a Mamiya 645 145/4.
And many for my 4x5 sinar f2, along w/ many fast petzvals.
I am a sucker for this type of gear, sigh...

Fotosnaiper (300/4.5) adapted to an Nex-5N. I modified a cheap remote to the trigger, so it can trip the shutter when the trigger is pressed.

Reminds me of the days when I was into stacking multiple teleconverters for my Lumix camera. I was on the roofdeck of a high rise apartment building taking snaps of people on the streets. I can imagine if I had something like above that time someone would've most likely called the cops!

Can't wait to mount this on my 5D! It's taking ages for the adapter to arrive

Argh, painful re-purchase for the MMJ C/Y 35/1.4, as mine was stolen.
I guess it's all good, as this was my most liked lens.
And all things considered, not that far from my initial purchase price.
Heh, I guess the box, etc. adds value.
Shrug, looking around, I seem too like boxes too. *8^)

It looks cool, Damon, but I can imagine that set-up inspiring some interesting unintended conversations.

I work in a federal building, and was testing it out by taking pics of some birds in our pond. Luckily people know me well enough not to be surprised!

I just bought an Olympus 50mm f/1.2 Zuiko. The lens is in great condition and got the original shade with it. First impression is positive. Will take time to compare it against my current Leica 50/2 Summicron-R and possibly some other 50mm lenses.

Some lensporn. Images lit up with my compuer screen and a reflector

And finally a shot (and 100% crop) of my daughter at f/1.2. The crop has tiny bit of sharpening with Lightroom and could possibly handle a bit more before looking bad. 5DII @ ISO400 & f/1.2

First impression is positive. It's reasonably sharp at f/1.2 but nowhere near my Zeiss 35/2, but still perfectly usable for most shots. It seems to sharpen up at f/2 but I need to test it more. There's lot of CA wide open but seems easily correctable in Lightroom.

Found this nice set in the classifieds. Had a long, nice chat to the former owner when I picked it up. Can't wait to try out the PC Distagon but will probably have to sell some other gear to fund the purchase.

Congrats Hrannar, I have one and it's very good to use wide open, almost on par with Rokkor (which I sold) for my taste.

I guess I resized it a tad to small. Left to right
PC Distagon 35 2,8
Distagon 35 2,8
Planar 50 1,7
Planar 50 1,4 (on the Contax 167MT)

That looks amazing to me! I'm already impressed just looking at the uncropped shot

Camera porn! I have the 50/1.4 adapted to my 5D and I like it

Not so alternative, but I managed to convert a Rokinon 35mm in 4/3 mount to Canon mount. Nobody wanted to buy the d@mn thing

Nice job! Is it the same lens as Samyang 35/1.4?

Thanks! Yes, it's the same. I originally bought it for my m4/3 camera. That was before I decided to go back to a dslr. I should've just bought it in Canon mount in the first place

I've been on a bit of a Contax binge lately. (Contax AX with 35-70/3.4 and Contax 139Q with 50/1.7...139Q is little more than a lens cap at this point since it has the shutter release magnet failure issue)

I finally managed to find a Zeiss ZF.2 85/1.4 for a reasonable price, and I am impatiently awaiting it now.

Bastard!

I really didn't need to see this. I just got over my hankering for this lens, just. And now you show me this. Bastard!

I need a sponsor. Some one to call when I fall off the wagon. Bastard!

Lens-envy is ugly...
