whoa they have an MD mount one! i gotta try one too since i have no idea when or if the SB version will appear.

I hope mine will arrive fast, if i get similar results for shallow DOF work than with the 5dII that 170 will be a great investment. Too bad there isn't any review showing decent samples jet.

Lovely. I had some of its younger siblings; GW670II, and GSW690II.

What was that about a curious rear lens cap? Are you referring to the camera?

Incidentally, I hesitated too long in buying the GSW690 from the same eBay dealer, so had to settle for the GW690 before it too disappeared.
